This woodland inspired brooch features a fly agaric toadstool made from decorated laser-cut plywood.
The toadstool is decorated with my paper illustration, applied using decoupage. I then use a crackle-glaze and finally liquid gold leaf to add gold speckles & highlight the edges.
The toadstool measures 2.6 x 3cm and is 0.4cm thick.
The back of the brooch has a simple bar pin fastener, made from iron and plated in an antique bronze colour.
