This sepia & gold star brooch forms part of my handmade jewellery collection; a range of vintage inspired pieces featuring my illustrations on laser-cut plywood.
The brooch features a star illustration on its front, applied using decoupage. I then use crackle-glaze and finally liquid gold leaf to add gold speckles & highlight the edges.
The star measures 5.5 x 5.5cm at its widest & highest points, and fastens with a simple bar pin made from iron.
