This sepia & gold star necklace forms part of my handmade jewellery collection; a range of vintage inspired pieces featuring my illustrations on laser-cut plywood.
The wooden star features a sleepy face on both its front and back, applied using decoupage. I then use crackle-glaze and finally liquid gold leaf to add gold speckles & highlight the edges.
The star hangs on a delicate antique bronze coloured chain, made of plated brass.
The star on its own measures 3.5 x 3.5cm
The chain measures 40cm, plus an extender chain which allows it to be lengthened up to 5cm more.
