Sleeping Owl Earrings

These sleeping owl earrings form part of my handmade jewellery collection; a range of vintage inspired pieces featuring my illustrations on laser-cut plywood.
Each wooden owl features a design on both its front and back, applied using decoupage. I then use crackle-glaze and finally liquid gold leaf to add gold speckles & highlight the edges.

The owls on their own measure 3.3cm high x 1.5cm wide
The hoops are 3.5cm in diameter
Total earring drop is approx. 6.3cm

Earring hoops are made from antique bronze plated iron, and close with lever fastenings.
